Jun 06, 2026"One of the best 'Italians' in Hochheim, if not the best. Often quite busy and it is worth calling ahead for a table if you are more than one. Great selection of food and wine. Draught beer is also available. You will not be disappointed."

Even though we don't speak the native tongue, we are always greeted with a smile. Food is the only language here, and it speaks volumes."

As mentioned we came for family. After long day we wanted to relax and my sister took us here. An atmosphere I have not seen living in America. Loved they did not rush us we enjoyed our company food drinks and it was all so yummy. We went there the next day and we will again when we go back. Absolutely recommend this place !!!"

I have eaten in and order take-away from time to time. I am never disappointed. Book ahead for reservations, they are often completely booked. They are that good."

Pasta Gorgonzola was a bit thin for us so we stick to the Pizza Calabrese (salami piccante and dollops of delicious n'duja) and chocolate soufflé (like a lava cake). Great Hefeweizen and nice dry Rosé also. You need reservations for Friday and Saturday evening, but otherwise we always get a table. Very kind staff and prices are quite fair. It is an easy bike ride from Clay kaserne through the fields and into town. Thanks for many great date nights, La Botta!"
